That time of the year again...

Salams everyone, hope you are all doing good inshAllah.
So it's the exam period again. Oh no :(
I myself am completing my A Level exams and I know how stressful these things can get. But I've found some duas to help us along the way inshAllah.

Dua before studying:
Allahumma infa'nii bimaa 'Allamtanii wa'allimnii maa yafa' untii.
O Allah! make useful for me what you taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me.

Allahumma inii as'aluka fahmal-nabiyyen wa hifthal mursaleen al muqarrabeen. Allahumma ijal leesanee 'amiran bi thikrika wa withqalbi bi khashyatika.
O Allah! I ask you for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messangers and those nearest to you. O Allah! Make my tongue full of your rememberence and my heart consciousness of you.

Innaka 'ala ma-tasha'-u qadeer wa anta hasbun- allahu wa na'mal wakeel.
Oh Allah! You do whataever you wish and you are my availer and protector and best of aid.

Dua after studying:
Allahumma inni astaodeeuka ma qara' tu wama hafaz-tu Faradduhu 'allaya inda hagati elayhi. Innaka 'ala ma-tasha' u qadeer wa anta hasbeeya wa na'mal wakeel.
O Allah! I entrust you with what I have read and I have studied. Bring it back to me when I am in need of it. O Allah! You do whatever you wish and you are my availer and protector and best of aid.

Dua while studying something difficult:
Allahumma la sahla illama ja- 'altahu sahla wa anta taj 'alu al hazna etha shi'ta sahla.
O Allah! Nothing is easy except what you have made easy. If you wish, you can make the difficult easy.

Dua for anxiety:
Allahumma inni a'oodhoo bika minal- hammi walhuzni, wal-'ajzi wal- kasali wal- bukhli wal-jubni wa dal'id-dayni wa ghalabatir- rajaal.
O Allah! I seek refuge in you from anxiety, weakness and lazines, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being oppressed by men

Dua for distress:
Allahumma rahmataka arjoo falaa takilnee ilaa nafsee tarfata 'aynin wa aslih lee sha 'nee kullahu laa ilaha illa anta.
O Allah! It's your mercy that I hope for so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye and rectify. None had the right to be worshipped except you.

Dua for concentration:
Salla-l-laahu alla Muhammad wa aal-e Muhammad. Allahumma inni as aluka yaa mudhakkira-l khayr wa faa 'ilahu wa-l-aamimira bihi dhakir- ni maa ansaani-hi-shaytan.
Blessing of God be upon Muhammad and his progeny. O Allah I ask you, the one who mentions goodness and actualizes it and commands it, remind me of that which the shaytan makes me forget.

Please let me know if I have made any mistakes. JazakAllah.
Hope this helps x

HOTD #2 - Floral fuss

Salam everyone
I have another Hijab of the day post for you. I love doing these. There so quick and easy to do.
I've also decided to add quirky names to my hijab of the days. Just to make it more interesting :)

Today I am on my way to visit some family. It's really chilly outside so I have layered my hijabs once again.

I never wear black hijabs on it's own because I feel it doesn't suit me. So I paired it with this floral hijab I purchased from Primark a while ago. I've wrapped my hijab a few times too just to get a little volume.
And again I went for pink lips as it goes with the look :D

I used a black undercap and then rolled up the hijab and used that as a little undercap aswell just to tie the look together. I've also been loving wraps in my hijab. It gives it more deffinition.

Hope you lovelies enjoyed this post.
More to come. Please support my page JazakAllah. x

Haul- Animal print

Hello and Assalamualaikum everyone.
Hope your all doing good. Today I have a little haul. I have been purchasing a lot of hijabs lately. Here are a few.

I've been loving prints animal prints lately. Here's a zebra print.
I love this, it's something different for me.
Primark £4.00
Primark scarfs are the best in my opinion. They are so big and have amazing coverage.
Again with the prints. This one's a leopard print one.
Also from Primark £4.00

This is completely different from the usual designs I'd wear. It's a combination of red prints containing chains, anchors etc and then at the bottom there is a section of red leopard print. This scarf is
a crinkled effect.
This was from a local stand and cost £4.00.

My obsession with prints is crazy. You never really realise how many similar things you have until
you see it. Literally.
This one is like the ones celebrities have been wearing. It's really nice and crinkled and has a good
coverage. £4.00 again from a local stand.

That's it to my haul.
More to come. And I will be posting several HOTD's with these hijabs.
Make sure to look out for them :D

HOTD #1

Assalamualaikum everyone!
Hope everyone's in the best of health.
As you probably know it was a very snowy day today. I'm not a fan of snow myself. But I just popped out in the morning to visit some family.
My hijab is just casual. But I thought I'd still share...

The hijab is a khaki green colour pashmina, bought from local shops. I've mostly created some folds. It's really something I did in like 3 minutes. I added the hair band to make it look a little fun. The head band is from Primark. I thought it was so cute and vintage looking. I believe it was 1 pound or even 1.50. Not really sure. And I paired the look with some fushia lips.

That's my hijab of the day. I hope you enjoyed this post. And if you want more hijab of the days let me know :D

P.s. I have twitter, please follow. x @DiaryOfAHijabi
PP.s Sorry about the bad quality images. Much better next time inshAllah. Thank you for reading. <3 x

Must haves for every hijabi..

Assalamualaikum girlies.
Hope Allah has kept you in the best of health. Today I will be sharing with you some must haves for every hijabi. I hope this is helpful for every new hijabi or even give ideas to everyone else.
Enjoy. x

1. Bonnet Caps
My number one must have and I'm sure everyone would agree with me on this one.
I cannot do my hijab without a cap. It seems impossible to me.
I reccommend some simple universal colours to start off with, that go with every outfit.
White, Grey and Black.
There are also other colours available and can be found anywhere really.

2.Pins.
I am sure I will be talking on behalf of every woman out there, that hijab pins
just dissappear. I go through so many all year round I can't keep up.
Some people are used to doing their hijab without the pins. But for me it's a must have.
My hijab feels secure and it reduces the times I have to redo it.

3.Scrunchies.
I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with these. But these are a life saver for me..
I use these to secure my bun underneath my hijab.
It works a treat and can be found in any market stalls and they are so cheap.

4. Sleeves
These are a new investment for me. I don't know how I lived without these.
Sometimes my sleeves end up being a little short so I just pop these on and I'm good to go.

5. Hijabs
Obviously every hijabi needs hijabs.
But the three most basic ones you need are black, brown and white.
These go with every outfit. And also go for the pashmina types.
You have good coverage and also perfect for volumising.

6. Cardigans
I love cardigans, just a little obsessed I think..
But cardigans are an essential. They are cheap and they go with all your outfits.
Their on trend now too :D

7. Nextention
I haven't got this myself. But I can see it as a must have.
These are good for people who like to wear nice dresses. But the dresses have plunging neck lines.
This extention will keep you concealed and you can still enjoy your outfit.

9. Lace caps
I love these. They are perfect for when your wearing a plain pashmina and want to
spruce up your hijab. Subtle things like these makes a big difference.

10. Hijab candy.
I love accersorising my hijabs. So things like little headbands with sequines.
Bows etc are perfect.

 That's my hijab must haves!
Let me know what things you hijabis can't live without!
Thanks for reading

Until next time x

Salam and welcome to my blog (:

Assalamualaikum everyone!
Hope your all doing good inshAllah.

The name's Nazmin and I have started this blog because I feel like I have so many things going on in my head and I just need to share everything.

I love everything about beauty, I like to see beauty in everything. I do a lot of inspired eye make up looks just for fun. Fashion is also another pasion of mine. I love how even though I am a hijabi I can still combine my religon and my love for fashion to bring out looks that make me feel confident.
I love hijabs, any hijab from any shop in the world I have to have!!
I've been purchasing lots of hijabs recently. I will do a haul soon.

Here's a little about me just to introduce my self :

What's one thing in your closet that you cannot live without? -
My black blazer, always a staple and goes with everything.

What's one thing that most people probably wouldn't know about you?
I'm scared of lifts, they terrify me.

Name one thing that you want to do before you die -
Go travelling all around the world (:

What's one food that you cannot live without?
Pasta.

What quote/phrase do you live your life by?
This changes regularly. But recently I've been loving this one:  "A woman bought you into this world, you have no right to disrespect one" Tupac

What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
I'd say my style is very feminine. I'm a sucker for flowy, floral dresses and a good pair of black heels...

Two hobbies
Reading and collection beauty products I suppose.

And that should do for now.
If you want to find out more about me, stick around and FOLLOW!
